런던과 서울을 기반으로 작업하는 pink noise press의 아티스트 인터뷰 진 Invisible Tapestry Vol.3 출간을 맞아 더북소사이어티에서 토크와 퍼포먼스를 진행합니다.
핑크 노이즈 프레스는 송보아의 아티스트 출판 프로젝트로, 시각 예술, 퍼포먼스, 텍스트와 사운드의 접점에서 출판을 대화와 사유, 교환이 이루어지는 장으로 바라보고, 고유한 형태와 물성을 지닌 오브젝트로서의 책을 탐구하며 실천을 이어갑니다.
이번 토크에서는 University of the Arts London에서 시작된 Invisible Tapestry 시리즈의 초기 아이디어와 아티스트/포토그래퍼와의 협업, 출판물 제작 과정을 이야기하고, 리소그라프 인쇄를 중심으로 한 런던의 진 문화에 대해서도 다룰 예정입니다.
또한 Vol.3의 커버 아티스트이자 사운드 아트, 퍼포먼스, 리서치, 큐레이션을 아우르며 작업해 온 토모코 호조를 초대해 그의 작업에 대해 이야기를 나누고, 폴린 올리베로스(Pauline Oliveros)에게서 영감을 받아 올해 3월 런던 IKLECTIC에서 초연한 RING IN / RING OUT (2026) 퍼포먼스를 회현 더북소사이어티 공간에 맞게 재구성해 선보입니다.

pink noise press
pink noise press is Boa Song’s artist publishing project based between London and Seoul. Engaging with visual art, performance, text and sound, it approaches publishing as a space for conversation, reflection and exchange, while exploring the book as an art object with its own distinct form and materiality.
The first publishing series, Invisible Tapestry, features contemporary artists whose practices bring attention to perspectives and lived experiences that are often overlooked, unheard or difficult to articulate. Each issue pairs in-depth conversations with newly commissioned portrait photography, with a particular commitment to collaborating with women and queer photographers. Together, image and text offer an intimate insight into each artist's practice.

Tomoko Hojo
Tomoko Hojo is an artist working within the fluidity between sound, music, and performance. Her work explores historically silenced voices, bodily restraint, and the thresholds between sound and silence, often engaging with archives, memory, and the politics of audibility. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University.
